IBM to keep spending on Business Intelligence as they claim, "we are just beginning."
In an article being carried by the itpro.co.uk website, IBM will continue to acquire companies involved in business intelligence and analytics.
The general manager for Business Analytics at IBM, Ambuk Goyal, says that the demand from clients is so great that it needs to keep pressing forward.
Goyal says that business intelligence and the information led transformation, "is bigger than ERP [Enterprise Resource Planning] and CRM [Customer Relationship Management] combined."
