HP have announced a collection of new products aimed at the small and medium sized business market.

According the the ITPro website , it's claimed that the products will reduce costs and energy consumption - key factors in the IT of many SMBs.

The X500 Data Vault is compatible with up to 10 PCs or Macs and features three sizes - 1TB, 2TB and 3TB.  HP's own website describes the products , with SATA drives and total capacity of 13.5TB with external storage options.

Whilst the name of the X3000 Network Storage System High Availability Bundles is easier to type than say, the product seeks to provide single package, file and iSCSI bridges into storage arrays.  The bundles contain an X3000 gateway, MSA2000 disk array, host bus adapter and cables.

Finally, HP's ProCurve 1810G switch series provide gigabit connectivity and the usual ProCurve lifetime warranty.
