Anti-Trust Approval isn't standing in Oracle's way with Sun, or is it?
The silicon.com website shows that Oracle isn’t letting the EU investigation hold up its plans for the acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Rather, they’re laying out their wares for all to see. This is suspected as being an attempt to limit the damage as users wonder what the future holds for the hardware under Oracle’s leadership.
Meanwhile, Information Age report that the European Commission may demand that the open source database, MySQL, be spun off before granting anti-trust approval for the acquisition of Sun by Oracle.
